After an atrocious Week 14, we are back to recoup those losses and go a perfect 5-0 again. From what I saw, a lot of people did poorly last week as nothing really played out as expected. I’m pretty sure everyone was on the Giants +4 and they decided to give up 20 4th quarter points to lose 30-10. Not much we can do about those results now so lets get on to the picks.
Miami (+3) at Buffalo:
Miami is coming off of a massive win against the Patriots and did so by running the ball with Kenyan Drake. The Bills are the worst team against the run and allowed over 100 yards last week to the age(less?) Frank Gore. I expect the Dolphins to outright win this game behind Drake.
Tennessee at San Francisco (-2):
Tennessee is on the verge of making the playoffs and also on the verge of blowing the team up and starting over after they lose to the 49ers. Jimmy G has come in and turned this team around, leading them to 2 straight victories. After losing to the Cardinals last week, I fully expect the 9ers to easily cover the 2 point line this week.
Los Angeles (R) @ Seattle (-3)
Seattle had a weird loss to Jacksonville last week but any team coming east against that defense is in a tough spot. Back at home, I expect a much different outcome. The Rams lost to a Carson Wentz-less Eagles squad and they have struggled this year against top tier opponents.
New England (-3) at Pittsburgh:
The Patriots were embarrassed last week on the road in Miami which should motivate them coming into this game against the Steelers. The Steelers have been getting by by the skin of their teeth the last 3 weeks since publicly saying they are waiting for this game. It’s taken three Chris Boswell FGs as time expires to win their last 3 games and other than Antonio Brown, their offense has been up and down. I think the Pats come in and dominate.
Money Line of the Week
Green Bay (+120) at Carolina:
Aaron Rodgers is back from his broken collarbone and when he plays, the Packers are just a better team. The Panthers looked impressive in their W against the NFC North leading but I think that says a bit more about the Vikings than the Panthers. I like the Pack to rally around Rodgers and pick up a crucial road win.
