Week 8 NFL Bets

I’ll be picking 4-6 bets every week of lines I like. Generally speaking with football I’ll be sticking to over/unders and spreads and toss the MONEYLINE OF THE WEEK.

Minnesota at Cleveland (London): Over 38

Both teams have brutal offenses but I have a general rule of thumb that any game in the 38 range is almost an immediate over bet. We might sweat it out but I have a lot of confidence in the over.

Indianapolis at Cincinnati: Over 42

Indy is not as bad as the Jaguars defense made them out to be and Cincy’s defense is certainly not the Jags. Conditions should be perfect in this one and I like Dalton and co springing for 30 points which means we only need 2 TDs out of the Colts. I think thats easy on a bounce back week.

Buffalo (-3) vs Oakland:

After a big win last Thursday, I sense a big let down game coming from Derek Carr and the Raiders. The Chiefs are not what everyone thought they were and were exposed on national TV. This game might shootout but I like Tyrod and the Bills to surprise and cover by a TD at home.

Pittsburgh at Detroit: Over 47

Detroit is getting a healthy Matthew Stafford back and the Steelers are without their All-Pro level NT Stephon Tuitt. Despite the injuries, I can see this game shooting out Sunday night with both teams well in the high 20s and low 30s.

MoneyLine of the Week

Detroit (+130) vs Pittsburgh:

I think Detroit outright wins this game after shutting down Big Ben and Antonio Brown. The Steelers are due for a letdown after back to back big wins. There is some turmoil in the locker room with Martavis Bryant suspending and JuJu Smith-Schuster dealing with a concussion after the verbal beating he took from Bryant.
